Program Description
Brightpoint’s Early Prevention in the Community (EPIC) Program will provide trauma-informed individual and group counseling for students in Winnebago County in partnership with Harlem Unit School District 122 for the third year. The EPIC program aims to reduce the symptoms of trauma to allow students to fully engage in their school and community. Therapists are trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and Theraplay. This program will aim to serve 100 individuals.
