Boys & Girls Club of Rockford will offer evidence based programs designed to build social emotional development for youth in our community. Social-emotional skills are needed to achieve academic success, grow character and leadership skills, and commit to a healthy lifestyle. Through targeted programs with specific objectives building social emotional knowledge, Club members practice what they learn in a safe, supportive space. A collaboration with Rosecrance will allow us to provide a continuum of care to all youth; including those impacted by severe emotional disturbance or trauma based symptoms. Further, this program will increase access to these skill development programs for marginalized youth in underrepresented communities who oftentimes lack access to these programs and services. The success of this program is to bring services to young people in Club locations where they feel comfortable and safe.

Our program is provided to Club members and their families. Membership scholarships are available. Each Club location has a Director and interested participants can contact each Club location or our administrative office. Registration for Club membership is also available online.
