Rosecrance Winnebago County System of Care will provide immediate access to detoxification and residential services for adults 18 years and older who reside in Winnebago County for withdrawal management of drug abuse and alcohol abuse. With the support of the WCCMHB, we will partner to reduce opioid-related mortality, improve client outcomes, and respond to community needs. This partnership will assist in prioritizing access to services for individuals who reside in Winnebago County. This partnership will provide low-income individuals and families access to withdrawal management/detox by dedicating beds specifically for individuals who reside in Winnebago County for withdrawal medication management services. Upon completion of withdrawal management, the client will be provided care coordination with the Rosecrance Harrison treatment team to develop a transition plan to residential substance use disorder treatment. Rosecrance anticipates serving over 200 individuals annually with this funding. In addition, Rosecrance also offers harm reduction services in the form of Medicated Assisted Treatment to address the public health epidemic to save lives, minimize stigma, and to promote access to healthcare, social services, and treatment.
