Circle of Change offers individuals [Veterans, First Responders, and Youth (Ages 9-20)] suffering with a mental health diagnosis, primarily PTSD, a path toward wellness through free dog training/handling classes. Participants with a variety of mental health challenges will attend weekly dog training sessions, where they are paired with a dog or work with their personal dog. For its second year with the WCCMHB grant and through a promising practice model, Circle of Change will aim to serve 240 clients.
